4. Access to the beamline computers

The beamline computers are logged on with generic credentials of 'p11user'. Each assigned user group has the corresponding beamtime ID opened prior to their experiment by their local contact, distinguishing the user accounts in the core file system. The data will accumulate to beamline filesystem at /gpfs/current/, as displayed in the GUI, during the beamtime and after the beamtime it is only available in the core file system. Please leave the computers and displays on at the end of your shift and do not log-out the p11user. The local contact will disable your beamtimeID which removes the access to the files in the beamline file system. 

Manual data processing during an on-site shift is not allowed on the beamline computers but to be done only on Maxwell cluster using your scientific account. Please follow the instructions here.

The beamline computers are not accessible from outside nor during the remote session, access to the remote data collection is only via remote session in Door, as described here. However, mixed sessions of onsite and remote access are possible.
