The nanotomography set-up is accomodated on a 6.8 m long granite optical bench. It comprises 4 air-bearing movable sliders. Two sliders are equipped with six axes kinematics for the positioning of the condenser optics and of theĀ  X-ray optics, one slider is the rotational stage where the sample is typically placed, and one slider is used for the detector.

The set-up enables full-field X-ray microscopy in absorption or phase-contrast mode, covering engineering as well as biological materials.
