Sample holder and pin

It's highly recommended to not edit this document. Any modification made will eventually be lost because it cannot reach back the owner replication instance of that document.

In a standard experiment samples can be mounted on the provided sample pins which are inserted in the sample holder. Pins and caps in two different sizes can be provided at the beamline.

  • For the standard sample holder, the sample weight should not exceed 100g.
  • You can also manufacture (3d print) own caps with an optimized geometry for your samples.
    The top part of the pin has a 2 mm diameter and is 8 mm in length.
